Ole Floyd’s Belgian Dark Strong Ale is Bloomington Brewing Company’s historic Batch 1000, released December 15, 2010. It will immediately tempt you with its amber hue and a symphony of malts harmoniously blending with Amber Belgian candy sugar to create a unique malty sweetness. The addition of German Spalt, EKG and Tettanger hops contributes to Old Floyd’s complexity by teasing the nose with a slight hop undertone and offering a smooth mouth-feel that finishes as easily as it began.
