22oz bottle-pours a light tan head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-some sweet, woody, smoky. Taste is smoky comes first then medium malt-some sweet, woody, rye, some hops balances a bit. OK effervescence.

Dark amber body with a foamy tan head. Malty aroma the smoke is very subdued. Nice smoke in the flavor however, some sweetness. Good balance. Tasty

Not too bad. Deep red-copper color, modest tan head. Aroma featured a light campfire smoked meat note, with a little caramel in the background. The flavor was mainly a seemingly salty smoked sausage type smokiness with a background that tended a touch too sweet. On the low end carbonation-wise, the beer was a little harsh in the finish with a touch of astringency.

Thanks to beerbill for sharing - clear copper beer - intense smoke and rye in the aroma suggests a powerful flavor, but it’s actually quite subtle - fairly creamy mouthfeel, but it is a little thin - mild smoke flavors work well with the lean malts - a little bit of caramel flavor - rye becomes present in the finish - not as impressive as the german-made ones, but pretty nice.

Courtesy of Gillard. Pours clear copper with off white head. The aroma is mild with dark cherries, prunes, malts and just the faintest cigar like smokiness. The taste is amber malt sweetness with a bit of rye twang and lager esque amber lager notes. Very little smokiness.
