A smooth blonde full-bodied ale with a rich ginger flavour. Hand brewed with root ginger in the mash and infused with more root ginger in the cask, this ale gives an explosion of ginger on the palate.

Bottled. Orangeish amber colour with a mediumsized foamy slightly off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is bready and caramel malts along with some fruits and a big time ginger kick to it. Flavour is strongly gingerish with some mild bready and caramelly notes along with some slight wooden notes. Surprisingly fresh.

Cask at Ealing beer festival 2011. A golden coloured pour with virtually no head at all. Aroma of ginger and not much else. Tastes of ginger and spice. Not my thing.
