500ml bottle. Clear, orange, deep golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, pale malty aroma, minimally soapy and waxy, hoppy overtones. Taste is soapy hoppy and minimally earthy, grainy, pale malty, moderate hop bitterness; soapy finish. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft carbonation. Rather simple, monotonous, expressionless, relatively bitter hoppy Pilsener but sadly quite soapy in return - below average.

Lahev: Deep Golden, slowly collapsing medium-sized white head; mild buttery-malty nose with delicate traces of herbal hops; mild to moderate bitter flavour, a malty body is hardly present, light bodied, a bit fizzy; slightly lingering herbal-bitter and buttery-malty finish. O.K., not bad for a cheap supermarket-beer. This "queen" ( english translation of the Czech word 'královna') tastes like a diluted, cheaper Bohemian Pilsner indeed...
