Beer with strong citrus and tropical hints due to the addition of five different American hops. Amber color, clear. Ivory foam, fine and persistent. To the nose the caramelized notes of malts are accompanied by citrus and herbaceous notes of hops. The sip has a sweet, soft entrance, reminiscent of caramel and cookie. On the finish comes out a bitter round taste, citrus and balsamic, which continues long in the aftertaste.

12/05/2012 La Tana (tap). Ambrata carica, riflessi color miele di castagno, lievemente torbida, schiuma bianco sporca abbondante e persistente. Al naso intenso aroma di luppolo, pungente, non freschissima, note agrumate. In bocca è amara decisa, anche qui non dà la sensazione di freschezza che ci si potrebbe aspettare. Corpo medio-basso, carbonazione abbondante. Abbastanza deludente.

Bottle at So in Firenze. Very hoppy for an amber style beer, with yeast in the bottle, always a good sign. Good enough for me to want to try more from this brewery.

Bottle, 75cl, courtesy of fonefan. It’s an unclear, amber beer with a dense, beige head. Mostly grapefruit on the nose, some caramel notes too. It has a pleasant bitterness in the flavor, along with grapefruit and pinecones, as well as a caramel maltyness. Full-bodied and smooth. Grapefruit-bitter finish. Bottle 750ml.Clear medium orange amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel,fruity, moderate to heavy hoppy, flowers, orange - citrus, spicy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, hoppy, flowers.
