Cask (Newcastle Beer Festival 2014) - Golden with a white head. Lemon, tea and a hint of grapefruit in the aroma. Crisp and fairly hoppy taste with lemon and biscuity malt standing out. Quite refreshing.

On tap at the Bow Bar Winter Beer Festival. Appearance - pale lemon with very little carbonation and a thin head. Nose - lemon and honey with cornflakes in the background. Taste - lemon and grapefruit. More breakfast cereal. Palate - light to medium bodied with a dry zingy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - enjoyable. This has many characteristics I’d associate with a golden ale so a bit crossover.
