From cask at Dog & Bell, Deptford, London, 21.12.22. Clear dark golden. White lacing and diminishing head. Aroma and taste of sweet pale malt, amber malt, sweet marmalade, syrup, Corinth raisins and sap.

Bottle from Warwick Real Ale. Appearance - deep orange to red. Off white head. Nose - stewed apple and light orange peel. Taste - orange peel, almost marmalade. Stewed apple. Toffee and chewy biscuit. Palate - medium bodied with a chewy texture. Tangy finish and a good length. Overall - good.

13/2/2019. Bottle from Warwick Real Ale, Warwick. Pours golden amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, hops, fruit and hint of berries. Quite heavy sweetness, less to moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet toffee/fruity finish.
