Bottle from Nisa Upper Beeding in West Sussex. Opaque light chestnut brown. Thick frothy foamy off-white head. Aroma has sweet caramel and berries with a sourer berry edge. Gluey and jammy. Flavourwise it's more muted than the aroma suggested it'd be. Tangy sour berries. But with a sugary watered down element. Sherbert finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. A promising enough start but eventually feels watered down. But a 4.7% Old Ale...

Chestnut brown with a creamy white head and fruit malt with a hint of spice on the nose. Smooth and creamy, fruit malt with spicy notes, floral bitterness and a dry bittersweet finish.

Rocky off white head on a still chestnut coloured body. Malt, liquorice & spiced aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & creamy. Toffee, malt, cinnamon, aniseed & berry tastes with a fruity finish.
didn't have high hopes for this but it's very good.
