Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, toffee, light roasted. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, malt bitter. Cask@The Cask Pub And Kitchen. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is salted liquorice, wood, caramel malts, some hoppyness as well as some bittery notes. Flavour is caramel malts, salted liquorice and some mild bitter hoppyness in the finish. Very pleasant.

From cask at Wenlocks Arms. Pours clear and golden deep amber to maghogany brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and slight breadish. Dark malty flavoured, light fruity and with a slight sweet impression. Rather dry bitter and roasted malt. Lasting breadish impression and bitter to citric hops intermixed with this. Ends dry.
