Cask-conditioned at the brewery taproom, Bristol 11/4/2018. Near black in colour, with a slight, beige, head. Coffee beans, some milk chocolate, a touch of caramel and some toasty malts, leading to a gentle finish. Good.

ABV: 4.5%. Cloudy dark brown colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, chocolate, chocolate - coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180125]

7 3 7 3 14 Cask at Navy Volunteer, Bristol. Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma has floral notes, herbal notes, coffee, chocolate and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium bodied with very soft carbonation.
