Made from malt, spelt, barley, Hallertau and Saaz hops. The result is a very dark, moderately bitter beer with warm shades of spelt and aromatic notes of hops. The broad finish is characterized by elegant spicy and fruity accents.

(Bottle 66 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear, dark reddish brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of fruit, flowers and roasted malt. Medium-bodied with sweetish roasted malt. Subdued bitterness. Quite nice. 220308

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also with light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and roasted malt. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Fully dark-brown beer; disappearing yellow-brown head. Coffee, roasted barley, soap, leather and a hint of acetone in the nose. Coffee again in the taste, with tobacco, dark grains, ending - again - with a solvent component. Light astringency, medium bodied. Aftertaste is chocolate flavoured. Somebody tried, but it didn’t exactly fall right, IMO. Better try, next, this brewery could do it.
