Orange - Grassy - Crisp • A decidedly American take on the classic German Pilsner, Schadenfreude is not so subtly hopped with the classic Pilsner hop, Saaz, and a relatively new German varietal called Mandarina Bavaria. Extensively lagered for a crisp body, the orange, herbal, and grassy notes of the hops come bursting out upon first sip. Using all German style malts and all German hops, this pilsner is 100 percent American.

Lime and peel. Pours golden clear without much head but ok lacing. Quite bitter for pils. More like India style lager. Not bad. Tap at brewery.
