Trotz des ordentlichen Alkoholgehaltes kommt dieses Bier (im Vergleich zu anderen belgischen Starkbieren) eher mild herüber. Eine friedliche Bittere passt sich gut mit den fruchtigen Aromen an. Ein gemütliches Bier, das sich leicht und angenehm trinken lässt ohne langweilig zu sein.

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Thin creamy white head. Very hazy blond pour. Ginger aftertaste. I’m not a big fan of ginger to be honest.

Many thanks for this beer to JefVerstraete. Piwo jak u Belga spora biala i puszysta piana. lekka metnosc i drobinki jakby imbiru. Zapach swiezo tartego imbiru. W smaku imbir, korzen pietruszki, pasternak. Ogolnie wazywne posmaki. Na sam koniec ziemniaczane puree. Piwo w moim odbiorze delikatne i zaskakujące zarazem, choć sadzilem ze będzie bardziej drapieżne przez imbir. Ogolnie OK

Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is fruitig licht zoet met gember, niet te sterk waardoor het toch goed te drinken is. Blijft redelijk lang hangen.

At gollem Pours unclear , darker blonde . Good white head . Smell is gember , bitter . Taste is gember ( balanced but intense ) , bit bitter , turns sweet . Good mouthfeel and carbo . Touch of cinnamon . Ok
