27/07/2011 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 30/3/2012 (2011-345) Thanks to Klaas for sharing the bottle!

Cloudy dark yellow to beige beer under creamy solid white head, stable and bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, lychees, candi sugar, canned fruits with syrup, exotic spices (star anise and ginger). MF: good carbon, full body. Taste: not as sweet as the aroma would have you expecting, very malty, some hops and spices, and just a touch of root-beer. Aftertaste: sweet malts and some canned fruits, but also a certain acidity to balance, spices again. No doubt it's the ginger causing this taste complexity, although I don't recognise it like fresh ginger roots.

For a spice/herb/vegatible style beer it’s not bad. Otherwise it is. Carbonation and body are very good, color is average, smell ok and taste is just not what I like. Interesting to try this one, but I won’t have it again.

75cl bottle-thanks to jtclockwork for sharing–pours a foamy white head and hazy yellow color. Aroma is lots of sage, light/medium malt-sweet. Interesting. Taste is sage, light/medium malt-sweet/honey. OK carbonation.

33cl Bottle at Café de Spuyt. Hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of ripe fruits, light sour, bit of ginger. Flavour is sweet, fruity, spicy, ginger, cardamon, dry bitter hoppy finish. Medium bodied. Bit too sweet imo.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Light beer. Wheat beer like but light fruit and quite a sublte trace of ginger. Good.

Bottle. A golden coloured pour with a reasonable white head. Herby, floral aroma. Tastes floral, ginger, spice, slightly sweet. Quite a drinkable beer.

750ml bottle. Thick, murky golden-tan color with a nice off-white head. Lots of floaties. The aroma is light and refreshing, with some honey, coconut, and mango tones. The ginger is quite apparent, but the mouthfeel is creamy and yeasty enough to take it all in and balance it out. Mild grapefruit notes as well, but not in the overbearing Cascade way, more in a sugary mellow dessert way. Impressive in that it maintains a nice mouthfeel and dangerously sessionable taste, while fully displaying the Ginger flavor as well. Exceptional balance. A great beer, a ginger lover’s dream come true.
