This is the perfect complement to the helles light lager. Schwarzbier is often called a black pilsner although it carries some roasty notes and color from the darker malts, the beer is moderate strength and is surprisingly crisp and refreshing for a near black beer.

Roast, some light caramel. Pours black with good head and lacing. Light bitter finish with some coffee. Decent stuff. Tap at brewery.
