This traditional unfiltered wheat beer won a Gold Medal in the 22nd annual Great American Beer Fest in Denver, CO. It is made with up to 50% wheat malt instead of all malted barley which lends a lighter note. It is deep gold in color with a very low hop bitterness level and a dense head of white foam. This Munich style, German wheat beer is medium bodied, with a traditional banana & clove aroma. It pairs well with German Weiswurst (white sausage) or lighter fare like salads, seafood or sushi. It is traditionally enjoyed as the summer beer of choice in Bavaria.

On tap at brewery. Number one with a bullet. Hazy orange gold pour. Foamy beige head dissipates quickly. Obligatory yeasty, wheat malt aroma. Flavor is wheat, yeast, clove and banana. Very faithful to the Bavarian style.
