It’s usually better to unify than divide. Wedge Issue is a series of double IPA’s where we take two hops that divid opinion in the brewery and put them together in equal amounts to make the whole greater than the sum of the parts. For Wedge Issue: Zythos | Nugget, we added significant amounts of Zythos and Nugget hops as pellets, and custom distillate to a grain bill consisting of Pearl Malt, wheat and oats fermented with New England yeast. Look for the meeting of Zythos’ grapefruit and pine aromatics tempered by Nuggets’s woody resinous notes in a classic American style.
