500ml can consumed while eating seafood at home. Pours a pale, clear yellow body under a dense white foam that is quickly disappearing to nothing at all. Hard to discern any aroma except for some subtle freshness. Diluted sweetness giving way to a light citric taste. Crisp palate with light lager characteristics. Very active carbonation. Insipid, though it did not harm my food enjoyment. Reduced amount of real sugar, but the beer is still very (artificial?) sweet (03.03.2007)

Can. Clear, pale golden lager with a lively carbonation and a decent, diminishing head. Theres some notes of hops in the aroma, but mostly it’s grainy, and it’s not much of that either. Thin and watery on the palate, and taste-wise it’s only some grainy notes and a faint bitterness that lasts to the very end, which isn’t far away. I normally don’t give a 2 on aroma and flavor unless it’s un-pleasant, but I did an exception here. The commercial description says it has 30% less calories than ordinary pils, they forgot to mention it has 70% less aroma and flavor. (070303)

500 ml can, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Pale golden colour. Decent head. Sweetish "artificial" aroma, maize and some fruit, not very pleasant. Very light bodied, a little sweetness in the flavour with minimal hops, but not quite as bad as I expected from a low carb beer.

Medium white head doesn’t last. Paleish yellow body with some carbonation. Lightly caramelly malt aroma with notes of paper and corn. Bitterish papery taste with notes of water and corn. Kinda empty taste. Thin! Empty, slightly chalky aftertaste, almost a bit salty. Some cardboard, too. Why did they bother to make this? Surely even people who don’t care about the taste can tell that this is crap? I doubt this will last. (0.5l can. Wish it were less.)
