Can to becher glass.
Appearance: ruddy red color with some transparency and a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: caramel/toffee malts, sweet nuttiness, some dark fruitiness and a light grassy/earthy hoppiness underneath
Flavor: takes the prior mentioned aromas and rounds them to a mild sweetness, quick caramelly aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, fairly smooth along tongue, finishes caramelly smooth
Overall: nicely done red ale I could come back to.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Amber red pour. Frothy beige head. Bready malt aroma hints at toasted grain. Light toasted grain flavor upfront. Spicy hops hint at tea berries and pine. Zesty malt meets spicy hops, somewhere off of Exit 9.
