Not for the fainthearted. Drink it fresh to really capture those hop aromas. Bottle: all year. Cask: a few times a year. Keg: rare special.

Bottle, at Nærbø Ølfestival 2013. An unclear, orange-golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head. Some lacings. The aroma has pine cones, citrus peel and some maltyness. It’s full-bodied and dry, with a nice carbonation level. Bitter, citrus-peelish flavor with pine cones and a little maltyness. Lasting bitter finish. A pretty nice one, sure shows also the Brits can make proper IPA’s. 131019

Sampled at Nærbø Ølfestival 2013. Clear golden body with an off-white head. Aroma is soft malty and citric fruity like peach, apricot and grapefruit. Nice and balanced in flavor, soft pale malt, citric fruit and balanced good bitterness. Medium body and fine aftertaste. Nice, well-made IPA, nothing more nor less.

Bottled 500ml ABM. Amber color, good big creamy beige head. Very aromatic citric smell, like sniffing a bag of hops. Medium-bodied. Citrusy fruity hoppy flavor. Citrus, some pine and resin. Some of my favourite hops used and tastes very fresh (BB 11/2013).

Bottle at Evening Star, Brighton. It pours cloudy golden orange with a thick white head. The nose is orange, passion fruit, tangerine, mango and juicy pine. The taste is juicy orange, tangerine, grapefruit, earthy, dough, straw, crisp bitterness and juicy pine with a lingering dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Really rather delicious! Well done BBF!

500ml bottle. Dark orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity hoppy aroma has notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, hints of pine apple. Taste is bitter and fruity hoppy, cirusy, also slightly peppery yeasty, slightly weak caramel malty basis..

500ml bottle from Ales by Mail

BBE 27/11/13 - Pours dark orange with a small white head. Aroma of stingy hops, hints of floral notes, fruits, grass and pine. Taste is grassy and hoppy with notes of gooseberries, citrus, fruits and floral notes. Finish is dry and bitter with lots of gooseberries and grassy hops. Quite hoppy and grassy, but feels like its already past its prime and not very fresh.
