50cl bottle from AlesByMail. BBE 27/11/13. Poured hazy and dark orange with a thick, nearly white head. Fresh hoppy aroma of pineapple, mango and grapefruit. Floral notes. Flavor is similar with more pine and grapefruit than exotic fruits. Some caramel towards finish. Bitter finish with grapefruit. Very easy to drink. Great IPA.

500ml bottle from BeerRitz. Copper-orange golden amber colour, foam white head leaving some lacing and aroma of tropical fruits, passionfruit, mango & citrus hop resin. Tangy sweet caramel taste with grapefruit citrus hop bitterness and fruity mango, plus slight lingering earthy biscuit & honey-ish note. Dry bitter finish. Soapy warm mouth feel, soft carbonation. Very drinkable IPA.

500ml bottle from the Romsey Beer Emporium. A deep amber pour with a dense cream head; there’s a rich tropical fruit aroma fromthe moment the bottle is opened; the mouthfeel is soft and thick with some initial sweet tropical fruits, but immediately overtaken by the intensity of the hops giving a piney, grapefruit bitterness that contasts with the passion fruit body. This is definitely a great interpretation of the American IPA style. Excellent.

Cloudy amber ale with a frothy head. Aroma is, unsurprisingly, strong hop but it has a tinge of citrus and possibly a sweeter fruit to it as well. Taste matches that though not as strong as you might expect from the scent, but it’s balanced nicely. There’s fruit in the finish but almost a toasty hint as well. Delicious.

Cask@Euston tap. Clear bronze colour with a small off white head. Sweaty hop nose with tropical fruit notes. Sweet malts and citrus the order of the day flavour wise. Lingering bitter finish. Enjoyable stuff that scores big on drinkability.

Gravity Dispense at Wandsworth Common Halloween Beer Festival 2012. Clear dark amber with a medium sized bubbly off white head. Hop forward nose combined with caramel malts. Taste follows nose - hoppy with light tropical fruit tones. Higher end of medium bodied with lowish carbonation. Really enjoyable hoppy cask IPA.
