October 2013: 500 ml bottle conditioned, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Deep orange to amber colour, moderate off-white head. Very nice aroma of fruity and piney hops, notes of tropical fruits. Distinctly hoppy flavour throughout, tropical fruits and grapefruit, resin and a solid bitterness in the finish, but not too extreme. There is a decent malty backbone to support the hoppiness - a well balanced IPA in my book, can easily compete with most of its American counterparts.

Bottle at Mason and Taylor. Orange coloured and slightly cloudy with a small white head. Aroma is grapefruit, tropical fruit. Taste is bitter and hoppy, but not overpoweringly so. Very nicely balanced. Bit tingly in the mouth.

Bottle from Waitrose in Canary Wharf. A great pour into the tankard and a well behaved sediment that stayed in the bottle. A good aroma of fruity hops that were nicely evident in the very pleasant taste. The mouthfeel was chewy and the malt and hops were very well balanced. I don't always like my hops too shouty and I finished this off with my dinner of a bean, lamb and chorizo stew and they perfectly complemented each other.

Sunday 3rd July 2016. 500ml bottle conditioned, into a UK pint sleeve at home. Sediment left the bottle, so the dull amber body had a slight haze: on top a wispy white covering and collar. Tropical fruits rule both the nose and taste with a definite grapefruit lead. Liked it.
