Cask at Euston Tap, London. An amber/gold coloured pour with a medium white head. Hoppy, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, malty, tropical fruit, citrus fruit with quite a bitter aftertaste. No sweetness detected whatsoever. Pretty good.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium to dark orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty - leather notes, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, citrus, grass. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, perfumed, citrus - orange. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110102]

A bottle in the Rake - thanks to Mario (a really great barman) for pointing this one out. Very hazy amber beer. Tiny white head. Creamy malt base. Good rich hops. Nice citrus hop - rich orange and lemon sherbet with a trace of grapefruit. Neutral finish. Spritzy bitter hop aftertaste. A very decent UK IPA - always welcome! Nice job!

Bottle at The Rake. Clear red brown. Lasting thick beige. Pretty decent uk ipa. Good sweet hops. Decent condition. Lovely hop finish. Pretty good. Very likable. Good earthy grapefruit

(Cask at Euston Tap, Euston, London, 27 Nov 2010) Amber colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with orange peel, marmalade, dried fruit and fresh citrussy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of blood oranges, grapefruit, bittersweet marmalade and generous doses of citrussy hops in the finish. More than medium body, quite sweet and fairly bitter. Very tasty and surprisingly well balanced. Very nice and actually quite impressive.

500ml Bottle - Amber/copper with a slight haze. Passion fruit, lychee and peach in the aroma. Hoppy and bitter taste with tangy grapefruit, biscuity malt, peach and toffee. Really enjoyable and impressive.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Pours rich, orange-gold with a dense, white cream head. Strong and dynamic hop aroma, with wet, dank grass, resiny pine, and citrus rind, along with subtle caramel notes. Lightly sweet with toasty malts and honey, then very bitter with more pine, dirty earth, and grass. Medium bodied with fine, ultra-smooth carbonation. Finishes with just light sweetness and dank, sticky and earthy hops that linger forever. Really, the bitterness coats the throat. Really good with some nice thrust from the relatively high ABV. Well done Bristol Beer Factory, well done.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 20/10/10. Deep amber in colour with a decent white head. Hoppy aroma of tropical fruit with a leafy edge, balanced by some slightly sweet, bready malts. Flavour had juicy fruits, plenty of malts, a hint of pine and long, bitter finish. Great stuff.
