The Ents are mad as hell. Saruman is going DOWN, almost as easily as this Black Rye Ale.

16 ounce can. Barely translucent dark brown color topped by a thin creamy tan cap. Faint toasted malt aroma. Creamy mouthfeel upfront. Roasted malt flavor is subtle. Notes of coffee and coffee. Despite being a rye beer, the typical earthy spiciness is a bit lacking. The brew drinks more like a creamy Stout or Porter. It is tasty, nonetheless.

Taster at brewery. Near black pour, collar of head. Rich, roasty aroma. Taste brings more roasty goodness, coffee, burnt toast. Light sweetness. Solid, pleasant, smooth.
