Bomber. Poured burnished copper with thick white head. Enormous citrus and hop aroma, with pine and floral notes. Big farking hop flavour, pine nut, sour lemon, naartjie and a malt fringe. Lingering, lasting hop finish, I mark it down a tiny bit, because there was an unpleasant oily tinge to the finish

Bottle courtesy of Jacob on 06/28/2010. Clear golden body with a small white head. Floral hop aroma. Floral and pale malt flavor. Medium body with moderate carbonation. 7/3/7/3/14 - 3.4 Bottle on 02/11/2009 courtesy of Steve. Very slightly hazy copper body with a medium creamy off-white head. Slight yeast aroma with some caramel, citrus and floral hops. Sweet slightly yeasty flavor with some light citrus and floral hops. Medium body with moderate carbonation. 7/3/7/3/14 - 3.4

Thanks to tronraner for sharing this one at the Februmergency Tasting. Hazy dark amber with a off-white head. Rich caramel aroma with citrusy hops. The flavor goes from a slight sweetness on the front side with a soft dryness on the back side.

22oz bottle brought back from Portland, OR. Thick, glowing orange brown color. Nice lasting quarter inch head. Seawater and hop aroma. The taste is full and delicious. Earthy hops and balanced maltiness perfectly balance themselves. Some hop syrup tastes, with a subdued dry, sandy mouthfeel. This is a World Class IIPA.

Bottle (muled in from Portland) Pours out a cloudy gold topped with a light tan head. Aroma of grapefruit citrus and light malt. Tast the same citrus. Not a lot of power for a Double IPA. Pretty thin for me.

Pours deep mildly hazy gold with copper core and near tan head. The aroma has a sting of alcohol before earthy and pine hoppiness take over with moderate layers of maltiness. The taste begins and ends with full citrus, grapefruit and pine hop bitterness that moves into mild sweet hop flavors, malt and some earthiness in the back. This is nice but not chewy and rich enough to being a IIPA. Very nice IPA though.

Courtesy of ibrew2or3. Pours blonde, white head. Aroma, very hoppy, but remains sweet, yeasty (cheese). Taste is hoppy with a decent amount of fruits and pine, with a medium bitter hop in aftertaste.

Bottle. Rich amber with a nice cream-colored head. Grapefruit, earth, and summer fruti aroma. Resiny, grapefruit flavor with caramel backing. Nice lingering bitterness. Medium body. LIngering grapefruit, pine, and a bit of a woodsy tea note.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Disapointing DIPA. Pours with a hazy orange body with good lacing. Aroma is musky/moldy with some hops, spices, and oranges (remind me a bit of Ale to the Chief). Taste is caramelly with light hops in the background (could not taste 100 IBUs). Light carbonation.

Bottle from PC Market of Choice in Eugene, OR. Copper amber color with a decent off-white head. Aroma is lots of fruity/floral hop over mildly roasted malt. Almost medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is fruit, with floral ester and very light malt (or the malt is just buried). The finish is lightly citrus, floral and decently bitter. Very pleasant nose. Pleasures the mouth.
