Inspired by the Flemish ales of Belgium, this sour red was aged in three types of barrels yielding a tart, crisp, vinous character. The oak tannins and lactic acid are complimented by subtle fruit and a sturdy malt base. It's a special, limited release so enjoy it before it disappears.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy copper red color. Smallish frothy beige head leaves spotty lacing. Earthy sour malt aroma hints at oak. Flavor follows nose. Sour malt, oak and, cherries and red wine notes. A bit thin overall for the style.
