Inspired by a moment on Independence Day 2020, we brew this beer for celebrating. This is a Kölsch. Fermented cold, it’s delicate, crisp, and carries hints of freshly-baked sourdough sprinkled with some mild herbs from the garden. Kölsch is a monument to tradition; and part of our tradition is taking in some roaring, chromatic choreographed explosions on the Fourth of July.

Draught at source: pours gold with white head. Aroma is bready and lightly fruity. Taste is lightly sweet. Low hoppiness. Fine.

On tap at brewery. Honey gold pour topped by a small creamy white head. Fresh herbal notes mixed with sweet bready malt lead to a faithful interpretation of the classic Kölsch style. Clean, crisp and refreshing with a light, dry grassy hop finish.
