Hoppy golden ale. A wonderful golden, flavourful ale with a refreshing, hoppy bite and delicate citrus aroma with possibly a touch of tangerine. The hop varieties Citra and Amarillo feature prominently in this beer.

cask@Pratts and Payne, Streatham, London - Golden pour with a puffy large white head. Citrus hoppy taste and aroma, orange,lemon, with floral notes, pine and grassyness to it. Good bitter finish. Very refreshing summer golden ale. Lovely.

Cask at the George on the Strand, 06/08/13. Clear light golden wth a thin white head. Nose is light hops, bitter orange, soft bread dough, light toasted malts. Taste comprises orange pith, tangy citrus, subtle hop presence, straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish with light hop bitterness. Ok GB affair.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 10, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, lime, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fresh, peel bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100803]

(Cask at Harp, Covent Garden, London, 7 Aug 2010) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grass and floral hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, apricots and grassy, floral hops in a refreshing finish with a generous bitterness. Rather light body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Cask@GBBF2010. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, nectar, wood and some mild spices. Flavour is citrusfruits, some nectar, tropical fruits and mild grassy and wooden notes as well.

Cask at Ealing beer fest 2009. Golden pour with small head. Slight hoppy aroma. Citrus, hoppy taste. An OK beer but Twickenham ales don’t really do it for me.

Cask handpull at The Fox, Twickenham. Gold, lasting thin beige head. Lovely citrusy hoppy aroma. Very refreshing, like a souped up JHB. Tangerine etc on flavour, pink grapefruit. Cracking pint, very good condition and just so drinkable

Cask. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet with light notes of malt and hops - the latter giving it a touch of flowers. The body is thin. Lacks character.

Cask/gravity at The St Albans Beer Festival 29 Sep 06. Golden coloured. A small head leaving rings in the glass. Heavy aroma of grapefruit. Nice fruity flavour. A lasting pleasant fruity aftertaste.
