Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Fine roasty malty aroma. Starts fine roasty-malty, not too intense, mild smokey touch. Shy sweetish background. Finish well balanced, soft-malty, some caramel, some shy chocolate. Not bad.

Again a 0,33 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot, mate! BB 06/25. Black in the glass, small pale beige head. Roasty malty aroma, some dark choco. Taste is also roasted malty, some nuts and caramel. Pleasant bitterness in the background. Low carbonated. Not bad.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein schwarzes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, erdig, leicht würzig. Geschmack röstmalzig, leichte Kaffe Aromen, erdig, trocken malzig, leicht süß.

Bottle: Deep ruby-amber coloured, smaller - but stable - off-white head with a little lace, not too dry chocolatey-toasty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to meddium-bodied, smooth; coffee and cacao in the dry bitter-sweet finish. Really good...

Simple but good roasted aroma. Flavor is like an oatmeal stout, with the roasted flavor the dominant character.

(bottle) Clear, dark brown, almost black coloured hue with a beige and thick foamy head. Moderately roasted malty aroma with fruity and slightly zesty notes of ripe lemons/oranges, accompanied by traces of anise, leaves and mushrooms in the background. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Mildly roasted malt-character with subtle fruity notes and a touch of dark chocolate and mocha; dry mouthfeel, roasty and slightly hop bitter finish with a delicate malty sweetness in the aftertaste. Uncommon but not bad. 17.II.12
