bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear dark brown, almost black colour, large beige head. Malty with caramel and dry, roasted malt flavours, also quite a good amount of licorice in the flavour. Good.

Dark color, almost black. If tasted blindfolded, it would have very little characteristics of a Schwarzbier: there is a very light caramel aroma, light caramel flavor and almost missing roasted malt flavor. Balanced and flawless, but also emotionless.

Dark color, frothy head; it look like a glass of cola. Light aroma, some wet cardboard. The flavor is mild, there is some dry caramel, quite on the dark side; the bad thing here is that it all ends with a sharp metallic finish. Drinkable but imperfect Dunkel (or Mild Schwarzbier).

Der malzige Antrunk ist etwas bitter und trocken, zudem weist er muffig-säuerliche Noten auf. Diese verschwinden nicht, dafür werden die anderen Aromen aber schwächer. Das Malz kristallisiert sich zum Ende dennoch hinaus, toastartig röstig. Hier etwas bitterer. Wenig überzeugend. 8/7/7/6/7/6

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Clear dark brown amber color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, metalic, coffee and chocolate malt notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, roasted and chocolate malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic. [20101215]

50 cL bottle, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours dark deep amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malty and slight grassy. Roasted malty and slight sweet. Roasted and breadish flavoured. Bitter and dry finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours black with a warm reddish hue and a small creamy beige head. Some roast in the nose. Medium body, some hard roast with a little licorice and a discreet metallic touch. Some dry hops in the finish. 261010

A red-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of butter and roasted malt. The flavor is malty with notes of both caramel and butter, leading to a dry end.
