Hansa Sommerøl er et lyst, lettdrikkelig, undergjæret øl med balansert aroma og avstemt bitterhet. Det har en lettere karakter enn vanlig pils og er noe lysere på farge og mindre bittert.

Can. Clear, well-carbonated, pale golden beer with a white diminishing head. Malty aroma with straw and notes of honey. The flavor is malty and grassy, with a slight bitterness, that comes stronger, but not strong, towards the very end. Thin body. (060508)

Medium creamy white head with some holes. Clear yellow body. Weak, strange aroma with notes of what appears to be watered-down honey mixed with alcohol. Weak, watery faintly bitter flavour with aftertaste of sweetish honey. The faint trace of honey is really what saves this beer from being bad, but the way the honey lingers is kind of nice. Decent, I’d say. (0.5l can.)

(Can 50 cl) Pale golden with a nice, stable and very white head. More raw and simple than other Norwegian summer beers. The hops mainly adds bitterness, not aroma. Very ordinary lager. 240404

Not THAT bad - a light summer pilsener that's intended to run smoothly down your throat. It does. Period. Rerate: This year's production has not improved the quality. Why on earth do all Norwegian breweries insist on making light, bland and totally uninteresting \"summer beers\", when their ordinary pilsners are summer beers good enough?? (Actually, the ordinary ones are much better).
