Hansa Sommerøl er et lyst, lettdrikkelig, undergjæret øl med balansert aroma og avstemt bitterhet. Det har en lettere karakter enn vanlig pils og er noe lysere på farge og mindre bittert.

0.5l can. Pours a clear yellow body with a thin white lager-head. Aroma is industrial hops, grains and a hint of citrus. Really low carbonation, almost completely flat right out of the can and quite light bodied and watery. Flavors are sour grains and again a hint of citrus. Here comes the summer? Well, I hope my summer is nothing like this cause this was quite watery and boring.

Canned (thanks TM!). Golden colour, mediumsized fluffy white head. Aroma is slightly citrusy along with grains and some slight rubber. Flavour is citrusfruits, some mild doughlike notes as well as breadyness. OK and refreshing, but at the same time rather boring.

Can 0,5l. Pale golden colored – almost yellow. A rapidly disappearing creamy head. Strange aroma. Sweet undeterminable flavor. Not pleasant. KI=6

500ml can. Clear golden body with a dense white head. Some malt/hay aroma. Flavor is like an ordinary macro pilsner, i.e. slightly more malt and hop than for a Norwegian summer pilsner. Not bat but nothing to get exited over either. Refreshing.
