Southern Tier's 2XHop’d is a seriously hoppy American Double IPA with big, bright flavor. Fresh notes of passionfruit, guava, and stone fruits come from a variety of hops we carefully selected to pair with the piney flavor of a classic Double IPA. With all its tropical flavors coming exclusively from hops, 2XHop'd perfectly balances between hoppy and fruity to create the ideal Double IPA for any occasion!

Can, 3$ @ JRs. Pour is viscous light orange tinted pale. Slight haze. Aroma is boozy mild fruit & citrus. Nose barely gets the fruits, it more like a sweet alarming alky concoction on the olfactory. First taste is warming medicinal bitchy bitter bitchtits bastard. A real mega muff mothah. Wankjob whorebag whoreface. I guess you can tell I feel its terribly mouthcoating tard thunbertwit on style. Whew, woe; wayward warlike wacky. ST rmakes some really really good godzilla gooch goopchute grimy gutfull IPA gruel. There you have it, one big strate up ass, dreadfully on style IPA. Blah. One good thing about this happy BS, is that I think I'm feeling a little less inhibited once I get to the bottom of the can.

12 ounce can. Orange gold pour. Large, puffy beige head. Sweet citrus aroma has candy-like notes. Flavor is bittersweet citrus and a hint of pine. Some pithy notes. Clean and crisp. Moderate astringency in middle. More pine and stone fruit on backend. Dry, bittersweet finish.

12 oz can that was delivered by Half Time. I have my snifter from ABGB in Austin ready to go. Tab is pulled, I tilt the can. The view is a clear dark gold, tons of carbonation and a moderate off-white foam. I smell apricots, grain and a light hoppiness. The drink, well, it’s okay, not earth shaking. Throwback and that is good. Still with the apricots, bread, a small touch of hard candy, malt and a noticeable hops bitterness. There is a substantial mouthfeel sensation, somewhat full. One can do better or worse in the style than what I have here.

Amber with a medium sized white head. Sweetish and boozy with piney and fruity hops. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.
