Cask (gravity) @ The 16th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2010, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - roasted, chocolate notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, nutty, malty. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100430]

On gravity at Reading Beer Festival, 01/05/09. Dark brown mild with a slight, off-white head. Easy enough drinking, with some fruity malts and chocolate, but didn’t stand out from the crowd of milds available at the Reading BF.
