Black with a small beige head. Roasty, woody and dry with coffee and a hint of maple. Long finish. Medium body.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a clear dark amber color with a medium thin beige head. Half rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of maple and honey plus a bit of malt. Medium body with flavors of molasses and maple syrup along with notes of roasted malt. The finish is sweet and malty with a mild hops aftertaste that is short-lived. Just above average all around.
