A ‘lager’ type beer, produced from the best malts and hops of cheque origin, fermented and matured at low temperatures. The specific conditions and the rigorous fabrication control give it particular/distinct characteristics such as a pale golden colour, a clean flavour, smooth and aromatic, a light body and a pleasant aroma of hop blossom. Its qualities (light, refreshing and pleasant) make it refreshingly ideal, quenching your thirst, enjoy drinking, making a great accompaniment for all sorts of dishes such as fish and shellfish, meat, poultry, pasta amongst others.

Review according to BJCP2008 guidelines (style 1B). Bottle 20cl Batch LG2116. AROMA: very low malt aroma with a mild grainy and syrupy sweet aroma. No hop aromas. APPEARANCE: light yellow color with some orange tint. white average retention head. very clear. TASTE: somewhat dry flavour with very low levels of sweetness, balanced with low bitterness that seldom persists on the tongue. no hop flavours, diacetyl or esters. PALATE: very light, watery body. moderate carbonation. OVERALL: a bit watered down bulk pale lager.

Small shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, light malts, caramel, hay, sour-ish grass. Taste is slightly sweet and watery, light malts, hay, caramel, sugar, hints of cardboard. Little bitterness. Probably best served ice cold in the summer sun.

330ml bottle at home. Nice pop from the ring-pull. Pours clear golden yellow, small white head. Aromas are a bit on the cardboard side of things, with corn and cereal. Faintest whisper of hops, sweet on the taste. Not much going on, but not entirely unpleasant.

Bottled 330ml. -at Museu da Cerveja Lisboa. Yellow/golden coloured, small white head that stays for a while, dusty nose. Malty, weak hoppy and light cardboard with short bitterish finish. Usual mainstream beer. 5.1%

0.3l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a clear golden one with a small islandy and sidesticking white top. Smells sugar sweet with some fruity touches. A bit pilsner-ish in between. Nothing to write home about. It's quite average on the c02 and the mouthfeel is thin and kinda slick. A bit sweetnes in the taste. Malty and somewhat grainy also. Not directly bad or anything, but a bit blend and dull? 09.01.2012

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with a white head. Has malty grainy weak cardboard aroma. Smooth malty grainy flavor. Has a fruity grainy finish with weak hoppy hints.

Bottle opened after hard labour on 19th may 2012. Bog standard Med larger in all aspects. Bright, clean and clear looking with the regular swiftly disappearing white head: crispness in the dry tasting beer although there was a sweetness initially in the flavour. No nose worthy of note and a sourness arrived in the mouth as the beer warmed in the glass.
