I would say that this beer tastes exactly like a Super Bock but with a bit less maize and bit more malt.

Keg at Gramacho Clubhouse. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of metal and grain. Flavour is darker and maltier than most mass produced Lagers but there’s an off putting sweetcorn note. Metallic, bitter finish. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Nice to swig on a sunny day in Portugal but definitely not one to savour.

Yellow colour with a white head. Moderate sweet malt aroma. Light malty and hoppy flavour with a little waterish edge. Probably ok when the sun tries to melt you.

Bottled 20cl(!) (BB 08/2010)
Bottle from Funchal, Madeira. Pale yellow color, small white head, some lace. Skunky and strong corn aroma. Medium-bodied. Quite straightforward sweet corn malty flavor with low bitterness. Light vegetably notes too. Harmless, not far from regular Super Bock’s taste.

Bottled. A pale golden beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of cardboard and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, cardboard, and a bit of malt, leading to a lightly bitter finish. The body is thin. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottled (thanks mom & dad!). Golden colour, small white head, that vanishes quite fast. Aroma is stomach acids, melted rubber, maize and mild harsh grains as well as plastic. Flavour is grains, some slight maize as well as some harsh sweetness.
