Bottle 500ml.Unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, spicy, star anis, licorice - anis, light to moderate hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, spicy, anis - licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101122]

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy amber with a small and off-white head. Aroma is roasted and spiced to herbal. Sweet, herbal and alcohol. Dry and spiced into a medium dry finish.

bottle @ papsoe tasting cloudy dark brown, smooth offwhite head. faint fruity and spicy aroma flavor is sweet malty, spicy, fruity, ends a littlle bitter. nice composition.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Theis. Pours a hazy amber with a small off-white head. Sweet spicy nose, a little exotic fruit and licirice. Medium body, very sweet and exotic fruit notes. Some spices to. No hops really. 221110

Bottle @ Cafe Biografen, Odense. Pours dark ruby amber with a small creamy white head. Spicy and sweet malty nose and flavor. Cookie dough and orange peel. Well composed. Sweetness. Dry end

2010: Slightly hazy copper with a firm and lasting off-white head. Fruity and malty aroma with anise and licorice notes. Sweet fruity and spicy flavour. The anise becomes a little too dominating for my anise sensitive tastebuds. 3.3
2011: Caramel, licorice and anise aroma. Sweet fruity and caramel flavour with a bit of brown sugar and plenty anise. Slightly hoppy finish. 3.3
