Huge thanks to Tytoanderso for sharing what was left of his bottle. A slow sipping, cordial-like beer. Tons of maple in the aroma. Sweet and sugar, very light corn flavor like a corn husk, bourbon character. Thick and heavy and good for slow sipping, with sinus clearing alcohol. Dark brown color and no carbonation.

RB #2000. From 75 cL bottle 2031/3000. Pours deep golden amber to hazzlenut brown. No head, no carbonation. Aroma is thick fruity with a minor roasted malt note beneath. Clear presence of alcohol. Flavour is suprisingly sweet and very smooth. Has a nice fruity plum, raisin and slight nutty flavour going into a very nice warm finish. Smoothness and balance is just perfect. Morten (Grovlam) took a great picture showing how viscous the beer really is - this is thick stuff. The far finish holds a nice alcohol warmth while the complex fruit flavours keep lingering for ever it seems.

Reddish brown ale with no head. Wonderful Pinot des Charentes aroma, apple sauce, sweet amaretto (a theme that night?) and maple fudge, and Captain Morgan’s spiced rhum. In mouth, a sweet viscous brew, so smooth, with warming alcohol burn, with maple, caramelized fruits and banan flambé with the said Cpt Morgan rhum. Like a good porto, a licorous beer, marrying well with the dark chocolate, which brought out nice roasted coffee beans. Merci !

Chestnut brown, murky, still. A powerful alcohol aroma of maple, bourbon, hint of cherries, chocolate, walnuts. Very sweet flavour - maple, vanilla, chocolate, caramelized sugar. The alcohol dries it out in the long finish. The sweetness is neither cloying nor abrasive. Given the sugar level of this beer, it should have been undrinkable, but it is very easy going, decadent even. Interesting brew.

Dark mahogny coloured, thick with absolutely no head. Huge aroma, big fruity flavour - like fine sherry, extremely complex. Not as salty or soy-sauce like as the Triple Bock. It actually manages to stay well balanced despite it's enormous gravity.
