Tap. Dark brown, cappuccino foam. Aroma: sweet, caramel, malt, a little chocolate and biscuit. Taste: sweet, caramel, chocolate, a little cream, a little bitter finish, not bad.

Appearance: Fogged deep brown with a one finger tall ivory-coloured head of medium retention. Aroma: Toasted malts, bread, treacle, estes, hop. Taste: Light sweet, light to medium bitter. Toasted malt, bread, prunes, dried dates & figs. Chocolate. Hop. Warming alcohol. Mouth feel: Medium plus body, average carbonation. Overall: Good.
