Fra fat på Gog & Magog, Plymouth 22 Sep 16. Mørk aprikosfarget. Lavt skum. Lett fruktaroma. Smaken litt karamell men også mye mørk frukt. Rosiner & aprikos. Lett tørr avslutning. Behagelig øl.

Half pint, cask at JDW’s Gog and Magog, shared with Finn. Fair white head, faint lacing. Amber body, misty. Malt-fruity nose, caramel and citrus. Blended taste of caramel malts and berry fruits followed by a rounded bitter finish. Fine bodied. Pleasing (Plymouth 22.09.2016).

On cask at the Green Dragon. Appearance - amber with a proportionate head. Nose - biscuits, light toffee and a little citrus. Taste - loads more biscuits and a citrus edge again. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - yeah, enjoyed this.

Cask at the Allied Arms, Reading. Clear amber with a thick white head and a light sparkle. Decent fruity malt up front gives way to caramel. Too much caramel in fact; it gets a bit sweet and slimy and the hint of lemon hops that comes through isn’t enough to balance it.
