@ Jamaica Inn. Dullish amber. The aroma is vague caramel, earth and spice. Fairly bland with earthy slightly astringent bitterness, and a somewhat slick caramel finish.

Bottle. Pine, orange, clove, honey aromas - nicely complex. Golden yellow with nice head. Smooth honey malt and light pine/hay hops flavor. Interesting complex brew.

Bottle from Asda. Amber coloured with a moderate white head. This got off to a good start with a pleasant aroma of earthy hops and fruity malt. However, the flavour was rather dull and the finish was a bit thin. Ok.

Bottle, picked up from Off Licence, Dartmouth, Devon 31-12-06. This was an unspectactular beer, Poured amber in colour maybe a little darker and with slight cloudiness. Aroma mostly of malts, tasted a touch sweet, malty some bitterness fine but nowt special.

Dark amber coloured, thin fluffy, lacing head; malt accented brew, a bit warming; moderate bitter sweet flavour; some bitterness, but mainly malty sweetness in the finish. O.K.
