Mohawk Blizzard is an extreme beer. It is brewed with ten malts, dark cane sugar and honey, as well as eight different varieties of hops. All this to help with complexity, while providing balance and elegance. Drink now, or save a few bottles for next year and see how the layered tones of fortified wine and nuts adds a further dimension to this beer.

Choklad, kaffe, brunt socker och honung plus humle. Smakrik och komplex. Tål att lagras. 3,4p 15/4-12 Drack nu en fyraårig lagrad Blizzard. Mycket jämnare smaker men ändå bra bett i humlen och beskan. 3,7p

(Bottle) Very dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark rye bread, dark chocolate, cocoa, dried fruit and a touch of soy sauce. Roasted, malty taste with dark chocolate, black coffee, dried fruit, raisins, dark rye bread, burnt sugar, a touch of soy sauce and a decent citric bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, slightly oily mouthfeel, with some sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Very nice.
