473ml can. Jet black colour with late awakening, small to average, thick, creamy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, roasted coffee beans, mocha, dark chocolate, a touch of treacle, molasses, Kahlúa. Taste is moderately bitter, roasty dark malty, notes of cofee, roasted coffee beans, mocha, dark chocolate, subtle sweetness, hints of Kahlúa; a warming touch of alcohol in the finish. Full body, oily texture, oily, minimally sicky palate.

It’s still early enough have a coffee beer... this one is made with coffee from Bird Rock Coffee Roasters. Pizza Port Bacon & Eggs Imperial Coffee Porter 8% Deep black with a tan head and a great coffee roasty sweet aroma with some fruit and spice notes. Smooth bodied and it has a full mouthfeel. The taste is great: roasty milk coffee notes, cacao and a semi-sweet blend of spices. This is one of the best coffee beers I’ve had in awhile. Delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is a brown, almost black with a small tan head. Aroma is pretty much just coffee but with some berry notes. Flavor is a nice strong cup of Joe. Nice roasted and earthy coffee follow by some roasted nuts and some mocha at the end. This was very flavorful and also had a nice smooth creamy mouth feel without being bitter. This was solid.

Sampled from the tap at the OB location. Pours a deep, dark brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of coffee with sweet dark grains and some roasted malts underlying. Flavor combines coffee and roasted malts well with dark grains and a hint of sweetness supporting.

Can from a trade into a wine galss showing pitch black with half a finger of latte colored foam. The nose shows a lot of mocha, coffee, and light bacon notes. The palate is thick but not fully foamy with respect to carbonation. Flavors of dark coffee and dark chocolate. Finish is mocha and caramel. Nice.
