[5/12/16] Draught at Sour & Bitter #3 in Copenhagen. Black with a tan head. Big aroma of coffee, dark chocolate. Sweet and bitterish flavor with lots of coffee, mocha, dark chocolate, roast. Full-bodied, thick. Great.

From tap at Sour & Bitter #3, Copenhagen. Dark brown to black color with beige brown head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, licorice, some smoked notes. Sweet and bitter, smoked notes like in aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly rich and sour-ish, espresso, dark malts, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, grass, minerals, weeds, sorrel, cocoa. Taste is dry mineraly, weeds, burnt espresso, grass, minerals, cocoa, hay, toast, burnt caramel, bark, vanilla, hints of cinnamon. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and burnt mouthfeel. Nice.

Tap at city beer store. Sf. Dark black / mahogany brown coloured pour a fading mid tan head. Aroma is huge raw coffee bean, cascara , spicy veg pepper, roast. Flavour is composed of smooth roast coffee, raw bean bean, little ash. Palate is medium bodied, little milky, highish carbonation. Nice coffee character. Little bitter coffee.

Draught @ Pizza Port, Ocean Beach. Aroma has rye and sweet roastiness. Flavour has strong coffee notes and espresso. Finishes with dark chocolate. Delicious.

06/01/2014 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Bevuta al Pizza Port Tap Takeover 2nd edition. Nera, non così densa, riflessi coca cola, schiuma cappuccino chiara, mediamente persistente. Al naso è splendida, sentori netti di caffè, leggero tabacco, amara luppolata, quasi nessuna traccia di cioccolato. In bocca si lascia bere bene, meno alcolica dei 9.5 gradi dichiarati, caffettosa, un po’ scarica di corpo e watery, forse volutamente. Non male davvero.
