Dark amber, full head. Malt and syrup aroma. Full bodied, nuts, some sweetness. Nice, balanced bitterness.

Bottle. Good english strong ale with notes of caramel, honey, flour and herbal hops. A bit dry.

Bottle at Printz. Pours brown with a light tan head. Malty with a taste of nutts and honey. Slightly too carbonated.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, Gustav Adolf Torg
Beautiful dark amber color; compact head. The aroma is hoppy, caramelly, yeasty. Strong dark caramel flavor, with dark chocolate; good body; strong hopping, with some fruity touch; and more cheesy yeast. Solid and good.

On tap at Bishops Arms Örebro 2010-12-23 AR: hops, burnes brown sugar AP: hazy, amber wee white head F: high bitterness, dry, hoppy, rich and filling flavor, clean!

Draught (Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm) - Brown with red tinges. Fruity aroma with raisins detected. Fruity and bitter taste with raisins and caramel along with a hint of sweetness.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium to dark amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, warm honey, coffee notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, caramel, tobacco. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101114]

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter ntoes of alcohol, leading to a dry spicy finish.
