Appearance: Opaque deep brown with a small ivory-coloured head of low retention. Aroma: Toast, caramel, treacle, prune & other dried fruits, less chocolate & coffee. Taste: Moderately sweet, light bitter and alcoholic. Toast, caramel, prune & other dried fruits, chocolate & coffee, vinous notes, hop. Mouth feel: Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Summary: I'd call it an Imperial Porter. Nevermind. It tastes well.

Bottle 33 cl. Dark chestnut with bronze and garnet, tan foam. Aroma: sweet and vinous, filled with caramel, milk chocolate, some dried fruits like sun-dried dates and figs, cake crust, some smoke and oak. Taste: sweetish, a little burnt ash and smoked, wine, caramel, dried fruits, a drop of brandy, a little cake, dried prunes and dates, bitter finish will balance the sweet start. Interesting, but it more likely American Strong Ale.
