50 cl bottle @ hotel room, Helsinki. Rated on 29.07.2010
Aroma has tar, some smoke and licorice. Flavour has lots of Leijona tar drops, smoke, woody notes and licorice. Probably a beer most strong on tar I’ve ever had.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has strong notes of smoke, combined with notes of bacon, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of bacon, smoke, caramel, malt, and a bit of metal, leading to a dry smokey finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of oh6gdx. Pours a clear deep amber with a small off-white head. A distinct smoky aroma combined with butter! Medium body, caramel, burned plastic, bacon and vegetables - a rather terrible mixture. Subdued hops. 011211

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Clear copper colour, minimal head. Fruitysmokey nose. Sweet and fruity, fairly light bodied with light butter and mild druity smikness. Low bitterness. Subtle.

(Bottle from Eat & Joy) Poured deep golden and clear. Head was medium sized, fizzy and white. Aroma contained tar, smoke and metallicness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were tar, smoke, candy, saltiness and bitterness. Aftertaste contained tar and bitterness. Like tar candy and beer mixed together. Not a pleasant combination.

50cl bottle from CM-Jumbo. Poured amber color with a huge frothy white head. Aroma is tar, tervaleijona as many other has mentioned as well. Flavor is tar, candy, sweetish malt. Metal in finish. Very strange. I like the tervaleijona candy, but in beer it feels so wrong.

Bottled (from Prisma, Rauma). Amber colour, mediumsized off-white head that leaves nice lace. Aroma when opening is tervaleijona candy (tarry stuff) with some minor smoke and toffee as well. Flavour is tar, smoked wet wood as well as some caramel malts. Actually it gets better as it warms up a bit, but still a quite strange brew. Somehow I actually quite like the idea of it.

Draught@SOPP
Clear amber color, steady creamy beige head. Funny aroma of tar and caramel. Medium-bodied. Light hoppyness, low carbonation. Sweetish maltyness. Flavor is dominated by Tervaleijona - salted licorice candy tarryness. Funny beer. Smoke flavor is clearly from tar essence and as such an artifical. To drink once.
