Appearance: Foggy deep brown, one finger tall off-white head of medium retention, Aroma and taste: Toasted malts, candy, dried pears, dates and figs, brown bread, hop, somewhat spicy. Warming alcohol. Moderately sweet and bitter. Pleasant hoppy aftertaste. Mouth feel: Medium to full body. Average carbonation. Summary: Very good.

Tap. Dark brown color. Aroma: sweet, caramel, dried fruit, light smoke, prunes, port, a little jam, good. Taste: sweet, caramel, candy, dried fruit, prunes, a little port, a little whisky with smoke, warms, powerful, very good.
