Tap. Almost black, coffee foam. Aroma: sweet, caramel, wine, dried fruits, prunes, cream and chocolate, a little smoky. Taste: a bit sweet, bitter finish, a little alcohol, warms, a little coffee and chocolate, a little harsh.

So, this is tasty, but I’d describe more as an imperial
Milk stout than Russian imperial (although it has a dry finish). Chocolate, rounded, boozy.

Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a moderate beige frothy head of good retention. Aroma: Roast & toast, salted peanuts, evanescent green apple, chocolate cookies, butter, dried fruit, distant hop. Taste: Light sweet, light to medium bitter. Roasted, toasted, chocolate, butter cookies, brandy, dried fruit, hop. Hoppy ending. Roast and hops in the aftertaste. Mouth feel: medium to full body, soft carbonation. Bottom line: Decent.
